Our Commitment

timeslot.ie is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to provide a positive experience for all users, regardless of ability, and to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Conformance Target

We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across all areas of the timeslot.ie platform, including:

  • The public marketing website (timeslot.ie).
  • Public booking pages used by end customers.
  • The admin dashboard used by businesses.
  • All transactional emails.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML — we use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA attributes throughout.
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are operable with a keyboard alone.
  • Colour contrast — we maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
  • Touch targets — interactive elements have a minimum target size of 44×44 pixels.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements.
  • Screen reader support — pages are tested with screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS.
  • Automated testing — we use axe-core in our CI pipeline to catch accessibility regressions.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full conformance, the following areas may have limitations:

  • Third-party payment forms — the Stripe payment form is provided by Stripe and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We work with Stripe to advocate for improved accessibility.
  • Complex data tables — some admin reporting tables with many columns may be challenging on narrow viewports. We provide CSV export as an alternative.
