Terms of Service

1. Service Description

timeslot.ie provides an online booking and scheduling platform (“the Service”) that enables businesses (“Tenants”) to manage appointments, classes, payments, and customer communications. The Service is operated by timeslot.ie, a company registered in Ireland.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information.
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorised access to your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. timeslot.ie is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

3. Subscription and Billing

  • The Service is offered under tiered subscription plans as described on our Pricing page.
  • All prices are in EUR and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT is charged at the applicable Irish rate (currently 23%).
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payment is processed via Stripe.
  • You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Downgrades may result in loss of access to features not included in the new plan.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ written notice. Existing subscribers are given at least one full billing cycle at the previous price.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including GDPR and Irish data protection law.
  • Send unsolicited communications (spam) through the notification features.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service (“Your Data”). You grant timeslot.ie a limited licence to process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Upon account termination, you may export Your Data within 30 days, after which it will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law:

  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • timeslot.ie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

7. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time from the admin dashboard.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account with 30 days’ notice, or immediately if you breach these terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data export is available for 30 days following termination.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and/or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
